A contemporary and culturally resonant drama about a young programmer, Elliot, who suffers from a debilitating anti-social disorder and decides that he can only connect to people by hacking them. He wields his skills as a weapon to protect the people that he cares about. Elliot will find himself in the intersection between a cybersecurity firm he works for and the underworld organizations that are recruiting him to bring down corporate America.

For me this show is like Requiem for a Dream. It shows the darkest side of things and people. There are no words to describe how talented everyone is. The plot gives you plenty food for thought. I can't wait for season 3!! -

This show is a masterpiece which includes mental illness, hacking, technology etc. When you watch more of the episodes you realise that you hardly knew anything about the plot.. It's weird feeling. Nonetheless this is one of my favorite series and I can't wait for the next season! -
Superb acting, strong storyline although the multiple POV are poorly handled and often feel irrelevant. Sensationalist approach to mental illness, but at least with proper research behind it. Deffinitely worth watching

Really great show. Ignore the bad reviews, they're mostly superficial. If you like twists, philosophy and talking about everything wrong with society, give it a try. -

@tmg I think you didnt get what was happening there. They deleted the debt of all the people. So all the Student Loans and Mortgage are gone. I dont know if you live in america, but the people there work until their fifties and longer to pay of those things. So they probally helped a lot of people

The writing and characters are good but the whole take down "evil" corp and end money is some pipe dream hippie bullshit. Crush the economy its and its a great depression all over again, good luck using your computer. Take down an "evil" corp and a few bad people go to jail while hundreds of good people lose their jobs. Not everyone with money is evil, nerds.

Mr.Robot excels on so many levels and for me is one of the standout series' of 2015. From never-ending plot twists to simply genius scripting and character depth - being able to relate to Elliot, the main character on so many levels. -

You don't know anything about plot twists if you haven't seen this. But there's nothing else here besides plot, so I wouldn't recommend it to people who like action.

A breath of fresh air and interesting take on conspiracy. Even with some small cliches, this show will keep you guessing. -
